Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Surikat service (the "Service"), published by SHARESUB, a French simplified joint-stock company (société par actions simplifiée / SAS) ("we"). By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these Terms without reservation.
1. Purpose
Surikat is an AI-powered conversational assistant, available by subscription. The Service lets you chat with one or more language models, keep a conversation history, and — depending on your plan — access additional features (memory, documents, web search).
2. Plans and pricing
Surikat offers three plans: Starter (individual use, Fast and Smart response modes), Pro (individual use, includes a monthly volume of Expert-mode replies) and Family (up to 4 individual accounts under one subscription, each with the same quotas as the Starter plan). Current prices, billed monthly or annually, are shown on the Service's pricing page at the time of subscription. No free trial is offered: subscribing implies immediate payment. Usage quotas (number of exchanges per month) are specific to each plan and reset on the subscription's anniversary date.
3. One account per person — the Family plan
Each Surikat account is personal and intended for use by a single individual. The Family plan is NOT a shared account: it grants access to 4 strictly individual and isolated accounts (own credentials, conversations, memory, and quotas for each member), linked to a single payment method managed by the subscription holder (the "Administrator"). The Administrator manages billing and seat allocation for the Family plan, but has no access to the content or usage history of the linked accounts. Sharing or reselling a single individual account among several people is prohibited and may lead to suspension of that account.
4. Account creation and access
Using the Service requires creating an account with a valid email address. The minimum age to create an account is 15 (the threshold set for France by Article 45 of the Loi Informatique et Libertés, implementing Article 8 GDPR). You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for any activity carried out from your account.
5. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service in accordance with the law and these Terms. The following are prohibited in particular: producing or distributing unlawful, hateful, violent content, content sexualizing minors, or content infringing third-party rights; attempting to bypass moderation or security mechanisms; using the Service to train a competing model; any unauthorized automated use (scraping, bulk API calls outside the intended use).
6. Moderation
Messages exchanged with the Service are subject to automated moderation designed to detect content that violates these Terms. Any account found to violate these rules may receive a warning, be temporarily suspended, or be terminated, proportionate to the severity of the facts observed.
7. Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for. In case of non-payment, your access remains active during the retry period; if payment ultimately fails, the subscription is cancelled and access to paid features ends, without deleting your data. When an account is deleted, your data is kept for 30 days (a grace period allowing possible restoration), then permanently deleted or anonymized, as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Limited liability — AI-generated content
The Service relies on artificial intelligence models whose responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuited to your situation. Surikat does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or relevance of generated responses, and cannot be held liable for decisions made solely on that basis. The Service is not, under any circumstances, professional advice (medical, legal, financial, or otherwise).
9. Changes to these Terms
We may amend these Terms to reflect legal, technical, or functional changes to the Service. Any substantial change will be notified to you by email or via the Service before it takes effect.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the French courts, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules.
